Safety hardware

 

The number of burglaries into houses and apartments, rises constantly. In the majority (80% according to survey by SIEGENIA-AUBI) the absence of safety elements in the windows makes the unauthorized entry easier. Customers who are aware of this problem look increasingly for window and door woodwork with burglary-resistant elements. 

These are composed of three basic elements:

 

  • Profiles with increased burglary resistance of the class WK1, WK2
  • Safety glazing and resistance of the class P2 and P4
  • The catches prevent the shifting of the fitting from the window outside.
  

 

Profiles
 
The answer of the company SIEGENIA-AUBI to the increasing number of break-ins into houses and apartments (more than 45,000 per year according a survey of the company HOPPE) is a new hardware which guarantees basic security for the customer and allows the producer to apply the fittings very easily to the window.
 
The typical color of the fittings TS shows us at first sight that we deal with a special product – which is especially reinforced. The optimum color provides that the fittings TS harmonize with every kind of material. It gives the window a modern look. This technology guarantees a modern and aesthetic design.
 
The fittings TS have a burglary-resistant basic protection which is applied by fittings with the protection level of class WK1 or WK2. In every case RU (turn and tilting function) a locking pin together with the matching corner support provides flawless and trouble-free functioning of the window opening and guarantees longevity. The fittings stand out through their high corrosion resistance and new, innovative look.

 

Resistance and versatility

 

The roller pin S-ES with a head with a diameter of 11 mm is characterized by great hardness and high resistance. The construction is similar to a standard pin.  The same position of the screws allows the exchange of standard pins with break-in resistant pins.  

      

 

Excellent support
 
The upper and lower hinges of the casement have hinge sleeves which reduce the abrasion. The frame hinge prevents the casement from opening or closing by itself.
 
Easy handling
 
The relatively heavy suspension of the casement is made easier by opening and locking the lower pin into the desired position. The frame hinge can be adjusted through a new kind of roller pin. The stud-like pin does not protrude the hinge profile.
